Storage of water and instantaneous production of domestic hot water
The heat store buffers are configured to maintain a minimum ∆T across the primary flow and return.
This ensures maximum efficiency and COP is achieved.
Instantaneous/on demand DHW is generated through the secondary PHE.

Water recirculation loop and storage of domestic hot water
Hot primary flow is generated by the ASHP and circulated around the primary side of the secondary PHE.
DHW is generated and stored on the secondary side of the system.
Correct ∆T is maintained as the water is drawn from the cold main into the buffer system or secondary PHE.
An auxiliary heater is used to ‘top up’ the temperature of the DHW if required.

Storage of water and instantaneous production of domestic hot water with recirculation loop
A combination of systems one and two.
The heat store buffers are configured to maintain a minimum ∆T across the primary flow and return.
DHW is generated and stored on the secondary side of the system.
An auxiliary heater is used to ‘top up’ the temperature of the stored DHW if required.
